Day 1: Hanoi Arrival

Greet the 1000-year-old capital city of Vietnam.
 
 
Dinner is served at Ly Club Restaurant, a French colonial’s building set in as the former residence of the Governor of Indochina in the 19th century. Ly Club is an elegant setting for enjoying delightful Vietnamese cuisine and living Northern traditional folk opera music performances.

Day 2: Trang An Landscape Complex

Trang An Landscape Complex
Farewell Hanoi for a while. Set off to Trang An Landscape Complex, the first Asian mixed heritage ever to join the ranks of UNESCO World Heritage Sites for its both cultural and aesthetic values. Here archaeologists found stone working tools & bones indicating the occupation of hunter-gatherers of the long lost eras before the Ice Age.
We will bring you on a boat trip through Trang An Eco-tourism Complex and its wharf.
 
 
What you are going to see are limestone conical hats emerging straightly from sapphire water, which winds its way through caves and paddy fields. The whole landscape is embraced by mountains and forests, isolating the area from the outside world.
All green mountains, yellow paddies, steep cliffs, tranquil water and mysterious caves. No exact word to describe the whole picture. As we visit the grottoes system of Ba Giot Cave, Dia Linh Cave, Bright Cave, Dark Cave, you will understand why UNESCO cannot deny this heritage.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
 
The next must-see destination is Dinh-Le Temple Complex, belonging to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital area. You will encounter a strategic situated capital dating from the 10th century and a huge system of temple dedicated to the worship of the kings of Dinh and Le dynasties.
We move on to one of the biggest pagoda in South East Asia, Bai Dinh Pagoda and see how big its South East Asian biggest bell and highest statue are.
End of the tour, return to our accommodation.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay

As you travel to the North Vietnam, Ha Long Bay is one stop you should never miss.
It is another UNESCO World Heritage Site, which looks like an extremely vivid huge drawing from above with 1,600 limestone monolithic islands rising spectacular from the emerald water in various sizes and shapes. Topped with thick jungle vegetation, filled with enormous caves and accompanied with beaches. Ha Long Bay has been a top travel attraction in Vietnam.
Embark at Tuan Chau Marina Pier. Enjoy your welcome drink & lunch as we approach Bai Tu Long Bay. Watch your breath, it is the limestone isles’ show time.
After lunch, we head to Vung Vieng Floating Village. Temporarily say goodbye to our cruise for a rowing woven boat trip, the best way to slip through 60 floating houses, shops, a pearl farm to touch the life of local people.
Back to the cruise and continue cruising to Titop Island. We have 2 options: climbing up the top of the island, freely swimming & relaxing on the beach or going kayaking to the nearby Luon Cave. Whatever choice you pick up will fulfil your adventurous heart.
It would be a lot of moving during the day, treat ourselves a deluxe BBQ dinner, mixed Vietnamese & Western dishes, under the starry sky and unique atmosphere on the bay.
Feel free to join the cooking class making Vietnamese spring roll & mix fish sauce before the dinner, or else, relax in our spa.
Night time is most suitable to enjoy the luxury leisure activities on our cruise. Movie, squid fishing, cooking, board and card games or massaging. Be our guest!

Day 4: Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi

A Tai Chi session is awaited early birds on the sundeck, followed by coffee, tea, pastries for your light breakfast.
Cruise to the Surprise Cave, a must-see place and a symbol for Ha Long geology value discovered by the French, let’s see how surprise you are entering the cave.
After finish visiting, we return to Hanoi. Enjoy your free time relaxing on the deck and get ready to meet Hanoi again.
We will arrive in Hanoi before night falls, check-in your gorgeous hotel and take a good rest.
Lunch and dinner are on your own.

Day 5: Hanoi Sightseeing

Hanoiserving as the capital of Vietnam through most of the past dynasties, Hanoi is now still the capital and the second largest city of the country. Historical scenes meet political sites, natural lakes blend with artificial parks, 36 old streets beside shopping malls. In Hanoi, the specialties are best to try at street food stalls. Hanoi carries memories of the past, spirit of Vietnam's politics & the North's long-lived culture.
Start our Hanoi discovery with Ho Chi Minh’s Complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ba Dinh SquareHo Chi Minh’s House-on-Stilts and Ho Chi Minh Museum. The places in turn keep the embalmed body of Uncle Ho (Ho Chi Minh), witnessed his Declaration of Independence, housed him in the war days and reconstitute his life through photos and objects.
 
Because there are pioneering architecture in this capital city, let’s visit the tiniest pagoda in Vietnam, also the most architecturally exceptional one in Asia One Pillar Pagoda.
 
Then move to the first university to ever be built in Vietnam – the Temple of Literature, which has been the symbol of Vietnam educational culture for hundreds of years.
 
Today’s food time is for Hanoi specialty. Our lunch is ready at Lotus Buffet Restaurant.
 
After lunch, visit the serene Museum of Ethnology, which is a 20-minute drive out of town that offers a fascinating insight into Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups.
 
The best is saved for the last: cyclo riding around the Old French Quarters. Then, jump in a guided walking tour walking along 36 antique streets for insights into Hanoian’s ordinary lives.
 
Cap off the day with a Water Puppet Show at Thang Long Theatre. Music, lights, decorations and dancing puppets. Puppeters retell the audiences about folktales & legends on an animated stage filled with drumbeats, horns and water effects. Your eyes will be amazed.
