The fact that it was largely unscathed in the decades of war and is now going through a building boom makes it a rapidly developing city in Southeast Asia.
Welcome dinner at a local restaurant to begin your food experience, starting with Spring Rolls and other local dishes.

Exploring Hanoi
After breakfast, start to explore Vietnam’s Capital – Hanoi.
This morning, we will drive to Ho Chi Minh’s Complex to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, Ho Chi Minh’s House-on-Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda.
The next stop will be Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university and the very first stop-over of any foreign tourist in Hanoi. It reveals the Hanoians’ spirit of studying in the past. It is also a famous historical and cultural relic nowadays.
Lunch is served at 5 Spices Restaurant to enjoy street food.

After lunch, you will visit the serene Museum of Ethnology, a 20 minute drive out of town that offers a fascinating insight into Vietnam’s 54 ethnic minority groups (Museum of Ethnology is closed on Mondays).
Drive back to Hanoi to enjoy cyclo riding around the Old French Quarters.
Then, take a guided walking tour to walk along the 36 old streets for insights into the Hanoian’s ordinary life.
Dinner is on your own tonight.
On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, the city government will operate the walking area in which, guests can do the shopping at night, enjoy street foods and maybe some drinks at local pubs. Music performances start at 9:00PM will be something to stir the night.
Hanoi – Ha Long
In the early morning, guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and depart from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay by road through rich farmlands of the Red River Delta and the scenery of rice fields, water buffalos and Vietnamese village’s daily life on both side of the highway No.18.
Ha Long Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a popular travel destination. The bay features thousands of limestone karsts and isles in various sizes and shapes. Halong Bay is a center of a larger zone which includes Bai Tu Long Bay to the northeast, and Cat Ba islands to the southwest. These larger zones share similar geological, geographical, geomorphological, climate, and cultural characters.
Your adventure starts around noon on Tuan Chau Island on President Cruise, where the Crew and Cruise Manager are waiting to welcome you on board.
Discovering the “Bay of the Descending Dragon” means to be amazed by caves, beaches, floating villages, rock formations rising from emerald water, remaining being pristine and awaiting your exploration.

Early birds are invited to a Tai Chi practice on the sundeck at dawn. Then, let our Paradise buffet breakfast delight your day.

Your cruise will finish on Tuan Chau Island at around 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM.
After disembarkation, you will check-in your seaplane for flying back to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, get transferred back to city center.
Lunch will be at KOTO Restaurant.
After lunch, return to your hotel and rest of the day is your free time for exploration on the Old Quarter or for shopping opportunities.
